We all need knit pants in 2022

Let’s kick off the year with a JogAlong!

What is a JogAlong? It’s not what you might be thinking, there’s no running or jogging involved. PHEW! Unless you’re running to the local yarn store. Myself and 3 other designers are inviting you to join us in knitting or crocheting some pants. Super fun right? Here’s how it works. You select a pant pattern or 2 (I won’t judge) from one of the 4 designs available. Purchase your desired pattern along with the required yarn or use what’s in your stash! You can then join the designer’s Facebook, Ravelry or Instagram group to get support while making. Share pictures of the pants you’re making on instagram using the hashtag #jogalong and get automatically entered to win prizes. The JogALong runs from Jan 15 to April 2, you work at your own pace, so take as much time as you need. At the end of it all you’ve made a great pair of pants, some new friends and maybe won a prize or 2!

When brainstorming with the other designers I thought this was a spectacular idea and such a fun way to get together without having to “get together”. Chatting about what we are making and all things yarny with like minded people (our significant others are more than likely tired of hearing knitting and crocheting lingo). It’s also a great way to learn new techniques and share our knowledge with friends in the fiber community. I don’t know about you guys but I love learning new stuff, even at my age! Best of all, we are never to young or old for knit or crochet pants. I had Palazzo pants Circa 1975 and figured that we all need knit pants in 2022! Here’s my Affiliate link to Lion Brand Yarns if you would like to use the Jeans yarn I chose for my Palazzo pants and shorts.

So let’s get cozy, pour a cuppa, grab our yarn, fire up them needles and start making some pants together. Join my IG chat group where I will be supporting you while you make the Palazzo pants, culottes and shorts. You can also follow me on instagram to see what pants I’m working on next.
